Dear ex-Herzlian ,
2010 marks 70 years since the (more...)
founding of Herzlia School.
I am sure you will all agree with me that the time we spent at Herzlia and our memories from those days have been a formative part of our lives. We have all been part of something special. There are over 550 'bogrim' living in Israel and as such we feel it fitting that we should celebrate this special event here. To the founders of the school and those that have carried out their vision over the years - we bogrim in Israel are the logical conclusion of what they started.
As such we are planning a special celebration event to take place on the 14th October 2010. Pencil the date into your calenders. More details will become available as we finalise the plans.
In the meantime we have started collecting pictures and other relevant memorabilia. We are especially interested in photos of past school dances. We ask you to scan them and forward them to us. Additionally, anecdotes of events and stories are welcomed to add interest to our celebration. Finally, if there are any folks who feel that they have specific talents that would add to the evening's entertainment, please let us know.
Looking forward to seeing you all on the 14th October.
